Gilmer Roblero

Gilmer Roblero is General Manager of Café Gourmet Sierra Azul, a cooperative founded in 2010 in the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve in Chiapas, Mexico. Under his leadership, the organization grew from 37 to more than 300 producer members.

He specializes in organic and Fair Trade coffee, with vertical integration across the entire supply chain: technical training, collection, processing, and direct export to Japan, the United States, Canada, and Europe, supported by five international organic certifications.

He has promoted gender equity through the Coffee FEM program, as well as the integration of young people into coffee farming. He has also diversified the value proposition with gourmet honey, roasting and contract processing services, and an in-house coffee shop in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, scaling roasted coffee sales from 200 kg to more than 10 tons per year.
