Doug Welsh

Doug Welsh is the Senior Vice President of Coffee, Sustainability, and R&D at Peet’s, the Berkeley, California specialty coffee pioneer. In his 30-year pursuit of coffee excellence, he is most bullish on collaborative initiatives, working with innovators like Enveritas and TechnoServe to build a better coffee world. He is a founding advisor of the UC Davis Coffee Center, former Chair of World Coffee Research and leads Peet’s Sourcing with Impact program.
