Gustavo André Jiménez

Gustavo André Jiménez is an electromechanical engineer with a master’s degree in project management and business studies. With over 15 years of experience in agro-industry, renewable energy, and digital transformation, he has led international initiatives focused on sustainable development and climate action. He has advised organizations such as INCAE Business School, the IDB, the World Bank, and GIZ, to create public-private partnerships for climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Currently, as the executive director of the Costa Rican Coffee Institute, he is promoting the adoption of the European Green Deal, positioning the coffee sector as a leader in global sustainability.
