Luis Adolfo Alaniz is an Agricultural Production Systems Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the coffee sector, specializing in technical advisory services, organic and conventional certifications, agro-industrial processes, commercialization, and credit management and portfolio risk.
For the past five years, he has served as General Manager of UCASUMAN R.L. (Union of United Agricultural Credit and Services Cooperatives of Mancotal), a Nicaraguan organization founded in 2001 that brings together nine grassroots cooperatives with 250 producers in the Lake Apanás watershed in the department of Jinotega.
The organization is recognized nationally and internationally for its responsibility, transparency, and commitment to environmental and social sustainability.
