Michael Sheridan is the CEO of Coffee Quality Institute (CQI), whose mission is to improve the quality of coffee and the lives of the people who produce it. Prior to joining CQI, Michael served as the Director of Sourcing and Shared Value at Intelligentsia Coffee from 2016-2023 and led coffee programming for the international development agency Catholic Relief Services from 2004 to 2016. He has written and spoken widely on issues related to sustainability, coffee quality, and social inclusion in the coffee trade. In 2021, SCA recognized Michael for his work with its annual Sustainability Award.
